Welcome to the virtual home of Sean Doorly. I am a photographer, writer, entertainment executive, and proud dad.

Below are a few fun facts about me.

• I met my wife via Post-it notes. We had a secret office romance.

• I taught my daughter two valuable life skills: whistling and snapping her fingers.

• I am not a DJ, but this other DOORLY is.

• Also, I do not make rum, but check out DOORLY’s Rum.

• It was only a few years ago that I realized narwhals are real. 

• I have never had a cup of coffee. 

• I have interviewed Anne Hathaway, Lindsay Lohan, Kate Winslet, Seth McFarlane, William Shatner, and many more celebrities. I even interviewed the cast of LOST in Hawaii.

• I have been to the Playboy Mansion.

• I had several college jobs, including a carnival game attendant, flower deliverer, video store clerk, and security guard for an antiquarian book convention. 

• I LOVE Christmas music and don’t just listen to it at Christmas time.

• I have flown in a two-seater helicopter with no doors at AirVenture in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

• I have been a best man at three weddings.

• I don’t watch sports, but I love sports movies. 

• I attended San Diego Comic-Con every year from 2003-2013.

• I have taken over a hundred photos of Cosplay couples kissing at various California cons.

• I cannot do the Vulcan salute, and neither can Zefram Cochrane. 

• I have watched every Star Trek episode and movie — many more than once. 

• I went to Woodstock ’94 with my brother – not the original or the one with the fires.

• My wife and I loved The Kid Stays in the Picture audiobook so much that we named our cats Evans (after Robert Evans) and Blu (after Charlie Bludhorn).
